In the area of corporate criminal risk, we defend natural and legal persons accused of tax offences under Legislative Decree no. 74/00, as well as directors and professionals investigated or charged with simple or fraudulent, proper or improper, documentary, distractive or preferential bankruptcy or other bankruptcy offences under special legislation. We assist bankruptcy receivers in their complex professional activity before the judicial authorities.

We defend companies in the event of accidents or deaths at work occurring to their employees, related to violations of the regulations set out in Legislative Decree no. 81/2008; we also provide advice, including preventive advice, on the company’s compliance with sector regulations, and assistance in any administrative and criminal sanctioning procedures.

We defend private individuals and legal entities, local authorities, in cases of violations of the environmental regulations set out in Legislative Decree no. 152/2006 and other special laws, related to air, water or soil pollution, and illegal waste management.

In particular, we deal with all forms of counterfeiting, such as unauthorized reproduction of trademarks and patents, copyrights and designs, as well as violations of trade secrets and unfair competition. Legislative Decree 231/2001 provides for the administrative liability of entities for offences. The firm offers legal assistance in criminal proceedings involving companies for offences committed by top management or employees to the benefit or in the interest of the company. We also collaborate in the consultancy required for the preparation of organizational models suitable for preventing the risk of the commission of the offences covered by the so-called organizational fault.

Cybercrime is expanding and requires in-depth knowledge of the digital world. With the help of experienced technical consultants, we offer assistance to those involved in computer crime, including abusive access to computer and telematic systems, and economic, and even sentimental, fraud via the Internet.

We defend those who are victims of defamation in the press or online, protecting people’s reputation and image. In addition, we formulate specific requests for the removal of harmful content from the web, and specific requests for the protection of our clients’ so-called right to be forgotten.

The firm has specific experience in relation to traffic offences, in particular driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs, as well as violation of the obligation to stop and assist. We also offer assistance in relation to the seizure and confiscation of the offender’s vehicle, as well as the suspension of driving licenses ordered by the Prefect.

We also defend drivers of vehicles, including commercial and passenger vehicles, in cases of road injuries and culpable road homicide, as well as injured persons and victims of such offences in order to obtain just compensation for damages.

We defend persons involved in offences related to narcotic and psychotropic substances under Presidential Decree 309/1990, in particular in cases of cultivation, production, trafficking or possession for the purpose of trafficking. We offer assistance from the possible application of personal precautionary measures or in case of ‘per direttissima’ proceedings in case of arrest in flagrante delicto; we also provide our activity in the execution phase of the sentence for the application of alternative measures to detention.

The firm has particular knowledge of the regulations on weapons, contained in the Criminal Code and special laws, such as Law No. 895/1967 and Law No. 110/1975.

For many years, we have been defending those who are involved in various ways in hunting-related offences provided for, in particular, by Law No 157/1992, also offering assistance in matters of licenses and administrative authorizations.
